Erin MacDonald joined Kirschbaum & Co. in 2023 as an associate.

Erin represents clients in all family law matters, from domestic contracts to mediation and litigation. Erin is successful arguing at court appearances and has obtained many favourable results in favour of her clients. Erin advocates for her clients and ensures their positions are heard by the court and communicated well in advance to opposing parties and counsel.

Erin graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2018 where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Sociology with a specialization in Criminology.

Erin then went on to complete her law degree at the University of New Brunswick where she graduated in 2022. Erin was called to the bar in June 2023 after completing her articles in criminal law in North Bay. She was able to work on a variety of complex files and appeared in court numerous times.

Erin is originally from Hamilton, Ontario and spent several years working at the John Howard Society where she assisted individuals, and families, who are at risk of, or have come into, conflict with the law. Erin has a passion for ensuring that individuals have access to justice and will work diligently to guide clients through the family law process.

If Erin is not in the office she can be found playing a variety of sports or spending time with her dogs.
