Amber initially joined Kirschbaum & Co. as a summer student in 2023 and subsequently returned to article with us in August 2024. She is on track to be called to the bar in June 2025.

Amber is a highly motivated individual with a strong eagerness to learn. She demonstrates a proactive approach to tackling new challenges and enjoys the process of solving complex legal issues.

Academically, Amber holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo (2017) and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Guelph (2019). She also graduated Cum Laude from the Common Law Juris Doctor program at the University of Ottawa in 2024.

Prior to her legal career, Amber gained valuable experience in policy work with an Indigenous Land Claim Organization in the Northwest Territories for two years. Upon returning to Ontario for her studies, she volunteered at a legal clinic, where she began to develop her skills in file management and client services.

Since joining Kirschbaum & Co., Amber has found great satisfaction in supporting clients through the litigation process. Furthermore, she has acquired valuable practical courtroom experience, including multiple appearances before the Superior Court of Justice.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Amber enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Dakota.
